Welcome to Sensory Explorers, a Dublin-based initiative founded by Rebecca McDermott. We are passionate about creating fun, inclusive, and stimulating environments where children—especially neurodivergent children and their families—can play, learn, and thrive.

Our sensory play sessions are designed to spark creativity and curiosity through hands-on experiences. From themed sensory tuff trays and arts & crafts to imaginative play and movement activities, every session encourages children to explore textures, colors, and sounds in a relaxed, supportive setting. All our sensory trays are taste-safe, ensuring that children with eating difficulties or PICA can join in safely.

At Sensory Explorers, play is more than fun—it’s an opportunity to build fine and gross motor skills, develop social connections, and nurture confidence. Children can enjoy a variety of activities, including:
